School Riding Programs

Our School Programs

MC Equestrian partners with a number of schools, tailor-making programs to suit their individual needs and requirements. Our horses are specifically trained to work with children and do so on a daily basis within our riding school; for lessons - both group and private, as well as during our school holiday camps. Our horses are continually schooled to ensure they are calm, well-mannered and able to adapt to all rider abilities, from beginner to advanced level riders.

Our facilities feature a large, covered arena - so lessons will never be impacted by the weather! Our team are friendly and accommodating and our coaches working with the school groups are all EA qualified.

Below is a list of some of our programs on offer. Get in touch with our team to tailor a program to suit your school’s needs.

School Sport

Afternoon Sessions (during school hours) 90 minutes - finish before 4pm
Our standard school sport program runs for 90 minutes. This entails 45 minutes of horsemanship, learning how to tack-up, care for your horse and stable routines and a 45-minute private lesson.

During your private lesson your instructor will assess your riding then adapt the lesson to suit your ability and build on existing skills (for those who have previously ridden). Beginner riders will be coached on finding their balance and making themselves comfortable in the saddle then progress through the dynamics of learning to ride.

Programs and time frames can be tailored to your schools allotted sport times. *Note maximum weight 70kg to ensure our horses well-being.
