Elsa in the Spotlight!
Elsa has been with the MC Equestrian team since 2017. She is a reliable, dedicated team member with a warm character and beautiful smile. She is a fantastic and patient coach for beginner riders.
What led you to start your job at MC Equestrian?
I love horses but had limited experience and didn’t have access to many horses in my life. Dee gave me an opportunity to start working around MC Equestrian in the yard. I eventually started my coach training which let me be around horses and gain experience. An invaluable addition to my life!
What does a typical day involve for you?
My days at MC Equestrian mostly involve teaching private beginner lessons, taking groups such as saddle club or holiday camps and sometimes helping out in the yard and stables.
What do you like best about working at MC Equestrian?
The opportunity to spend time with horses and learn more about them and how they work. Also the super supportive team environment the MC Equestrian provides.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to exercise and take the dog out for a run. I don’t have a horse but once I finish Uni, it’s the first thing on my to do list!
Tell us about a funny horse moment in your life?
One year when I was younger, at a week-long pony club camp I won the “Best Buster” award. I got a mouthful of dirt when I fell off whilst learning how to play polocrosse!.
